By dedicating time to mastery, charitable endeavors, and creative pursuits, we cultivate discipline, practicality, and humility within our team.
Our Engineers assess and design reinforcement for underground and open pit mining, ensuring safety and stability. They draft support standards, oversee infrastructure design, and conduct quality assurance evaluations, are proficient in forecasting future needs, and conduct thorough inspections of underground infrastructure from chambers to orepasses.
Our Engineers are adept at geological mapping, hazard identification, and root cause analysis. They manage databases efficiently, ensuring accurate capture of observations and hazards. They are skilled in identifying ground support issues and water ingress concerns, they conduct thorough QAQC data checks. Additionally, they perform operator audits and rock mass classification, enabling comprehensive management of geotechnical data and underground operations.
Our Engineers handle various monitoring techniques crucial for mining stability. They set up Total Stations and prisms, troubleshoot Total Station and seismic systems, and analyze radar data for hazardous movement. They install and maintain instruments like seismic sensors and piezometers, interpret seismic and satellite data, and conduct LIDAR scanning and processing when required, ensuring comprehensive monitoring.
Our engineers are skilled in generating and distributing rehabilitation, ground support, cable bolt, scaling, and pull test plans as needed. They maintain hazard and damage registers, as well as support plans registers, using Excel or Deswik. Additionally, they manage mine observation registers, ensuring inspections are up to date. They effectively communicate hazards and damage to relevant personnel, including shift bosses and managers. They maintain registers for stope notes, scaling, pull tests, instrument maintenance, infrastructure inspections, and TARP activations, delegating tasks and adhering to timelines as required.
Our engineers handle various reports and analyses crucial for mining operations. They interpret seismic activity for daily reports and perform stope stability analysis, slope stability analysis, reconciliation, and weekly/monthly compliance reports. They generate reports on rockfall, batter failures, mud rushes, air gaps, deformation/stress analysis, and rehabilitation analysis. Additionally, they conduct hydrochemical and isotopic analyses, analyze groundwater observations, and oversee ground support trials. They also produce reports on vertical rises, risk assessments, bucket refusals, daily total station and radar readings, and geotechnical infrastructure design.
Our experts excel in creating tools for tracking critical risk events and controls, as well as guides to navigate complex processes. They design streamlined handover templates for automated data collection and task display. Additionally, they mentor and train junior and graduate engineers, ensuring their professional growth. They also develop standard operating procedures for new tasks assigned to the team, ensuring efficiency and consistency in operations.
