BHP - Prominent Hill - Large Chamber Infrastructure at Depth
Operational support for the PHOX Project in delivery of the Prominent Hill Crusher Chamber, Transfer Station and Shaft Bottom Infrastructure; key tasks included geological mapping, geotechnical design and planning, seismic management, hazard identification, ground support QAQC, instrument installation, DPE Sign offs and root cause analysis. enabling comprehensive management of geotechnical data and underground operations.
BHP - Prominent Hill - Vent on Demand
As Prominent Hill increases in size, ventilation demand and power costs rise. Our Senior Ventilation Engineer and Ventilation Technician have been brought into the team to assist the mine with it's transition to a more efficient and robust ventilation system providing primary and secondary ventilation surveys and other operational ventilation support.
Bellevue Gold - Bellevue - EOFY OPS Geotechnical Support
Hi! Engineers provided onsite operational support to Bellevue Gold for its FY 24/25 transition. Key duties included monitoring seismic re-entry and hazard analysis, stope notes and day to day operational plans management.
BHP - Carrapateena - Large Chamber Infrastructure and SLC OPS Support
Hi! Engineers provided onsite operational support to Carrapateena for the construction of TCH 6, as they continue preparing for the block cave. Key tasks include; training of Geotechnical team members, reviewing and desgining geotechnical plans, conducting seismic re-entries, operation SLC tasks and duties.
BHP - Prominent Hill - Coarse Ore Bin Ground Support Design
Geotechnical Design and Installation support for ground control of the Southern Hemispheres Largest Coarse Ore Bin, where 100% retention was achieved within +-100mm of design.
BHP - Prominent Hill - Corrosion Monitoring
Through the deployment of a Hi! Technician and an industry first ground - based corrosion probe. Hi! Engineers was able to assist Prominent Hill with assessing its corrosion risk and trends. The survey spanned 6 months and 4000 splitsets. It revealed the root cause of the corrosion of the mine and provided statistics backed approach for future corrosion prevention.
BHP - Carrapateena - SANDVIK 422i Resin Injector
As part of the deployment at Carrapateena Hi! Engineers has assisted the team with the commissioning and deployment of the new SANDVIK 422i Resin bolter by designing the trials to give the team confidence in the operational integrity of the support installed.
